Even in a book of over 400 pages, it is not possible to describe each exconvento site in great detail. Many of these churches have unique or unusual elements or histories. Here are a few:
The book includes black and white duotone photographs of 125 distinct churches. Here are a few selected sites, each with an array of photographs. Some are presented in black and white and include photographs from the book. Others are in color and show images not included in the book.
Typically each exconvento site has a rich variety of elements including the church interior, the atrio, the cloister and many details.
